Engineer

Responsibilities: Develops long and short range planning associated with all major system distribution line and substation design, improvements, and inspections; analyzes data to determine feasibility of technical proposals; analyzes engineering proposals, process requirements, and related technical data pertaining to industrial applications and equipment design.

Qualifications:  Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering; five years’ progressive experience in electric utility; or equivalent combination.


Journeyman Lineman

Responsibilities: Performs skilled electrical work i the construction, maintenance, and operation of the overhead and underground electric system. Performs on-call duty assignment as a condition of employment when scheduled. Inspects existing power lines looking for problems. Responds to power outages and consumer problems and troubleshoots to restore power in a safe and timely manner.

Qualifications:  Valid CDL driver's license. Must have successfully completed an approved apprentice lineman training course.


Staking Technician

Responsibilities: As part of the Engineering Department, performs the design, estimation, and the staking of new residential and commercial electric service in accordance with the Cooperative and RUS specifications. This position involves both field and office work. Ability to work with the public and function in all types of outside weather conditions.

Qualifications: Good communications skills needed. Must have computer skills and be proficient in Microsoft Office and Excel programs. Experience in the construction industry a plus.
